Alice Marion Best

Alice Marion Best, Born July 21, 1934 passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Florence Kidd. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and owner of Kidd Springs picnic area. Survivors include her high school sweetheart Harold “Snake Eye” Best whom she married in 1953; daughters, Beth Pratts and husband Carol, Becky Johnson and husband Mike; son Gary Best and wife Denise; grandchildren; David Pratts and wife Sarah, Chris Pratts and wife Chasity, Mandy Sitlar and husband Jonathan, Laura Lockwood and husband Ryan, Tiffany, Cody, and Kaitlyn Best; great grandchildren, Noah, Isaiah, Ethan, Taylor, Tanner, and Cameron; sister Alma Hall and husband Joe; niece, Marie. Funeral services will be 7:30 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2011 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Dr. Jerry Russell officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:00 a.m Tuesday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment.
