Allie D. ''Red'' Quinton

Allie D. Red Quinton, age 79 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years of service and from Cummins Engine Plant in Charleston, SC. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Linda Russell Quinton; brothers, J.C., Lawrence, Glenn and Ralph; sister, Eva. Survivors include his wife, Viva Quinton; daughter, Cathy Quinton; sisters, Jewell Buchanan of Jasper, GA, Katie Ailey and Ruby Patton both of Maryville; nephew, Ronnie Quinton and wife, Judy. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clifton Hearon officiating. The interment will follow in Centenary Cemetery.
