Angela H. Maglione

Angelina (Angela) Maglione, 96, passed into eternal life on April 4, 2016. Born in Brooklyn, New York on December 23, 1919 to Antonio and Antonia Arnone, Angela was the next to youngest of seven siblings, all of whom have predeceased her. Angela was a devout Catholic, a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Alcoa. She graduated from St. Agatha Elementary School and the Greater Industrial High School in Brooklyn, New York, where she specialized in Dressmaking. Angela was married to Anthony Maglione, Jr. for 47 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a loyal friend. Angela is survived by her four children: daughter, Dolores Maglione and son, Timothy Maglione of Maryville, TN; son an daughter-in-law, Anthony III and Joanna Maglione of West Jefferson, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Michael Arcaro of Leland, NC; grandson, Anthony Maglione IV; great grandson, Anthony V (Laura) Maglione; great great grandson, Anthony Maglione VI all of NC; granddaughter, Lynn Marie Gregor of L.I., NY; grandson, Ryan (Katherine) Kinnelly; great grandsons, Sean and Steffen Kinnelly all of Everett, WA. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of Blount Memorial Hospital and the staff of nurses and caregivers of Blount Memorial Hospice for the excellent care Angela received during her final illness. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Alcoa, with Pastor, Fr. Bill McKenzie presiding. Friends will be received at the Church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow the Mass in Fatima Center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church or Blount Memorial Hospice.
