Anna Crye Gideon

June 24, 1916 — August 4, 2011

Anna Crye Gideon, age 95 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011, at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. She was a member of Clover Hill Presbyteian Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Gideon; parents, Henry and Amanda Tyler Crye; brothers, Clarence, James and Gene; sisters, Jonnie (Macey) King, Betty (Bill) Koontz. Survived by daughter, Jimmie Ruth (Ross) Clemmer; granddaughter, Betsy Clemmer Spears; grandson, Bradley (Amy) Clemmer; great granddaughters, Katie Spears and LeeAnn West; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Crye, Ruth Patty of Maryville, Dorothy Crye of Knoxville, nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to the friends and staff of Morningview Village Assisted Living, Staff of Colonial Hills Nursing Center, Jack Weeks, Carrie and Beth of the Pallative Care Group at Blount Memorial Hospital and Dr. John Ingram. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Clover Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Maryville for a graveside service with the Reverend Thomas M. Gilliland officiating. Friends and family may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home in Maryville.
