Anthony ''Tony'' Johns

August 24, 1960 — January 7, 2005

Anthony (Tony) Johns, age 44, went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 7, 2005. He was born in Waco, TX on August 24, 1960. He was employed by M&L Sound of Knoxville and considered one of the top concert sound engineers in the southeast. Tony graduated from Bearden High School and was a member of Central Baptist Church of Bearden, Knoxville. His life father, Harold Johns of Portland, OR preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Donna Johns, and daughter, Amy Garland of Maryville, TN; his mother and dad, Frank and Mary Alexander of Sturgis, SD; step-mother Irmi Johns of Portand, OR; brother, Wayne Alexander, wife Lee and nephew Zachary of Wichita Falls, TX; Sister, Sheila Johns Heimbach, husband Dean and their children Paige and Mitchell of Laguna Niguel, CA. Family and friends will meet 2:00 PM Tuesday at Grandview Cemetery for the graveside service and interment. The Family will receive friends 7:00-9:00 PM Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Baptist Hospice, 137 E. Blount Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37920.
