Bertha Connatser Whitehead

November 18, 1919 — August 29, 2004

Whitehead, Bertha C. age 84 of Maryville, passed away Sunday August 29th 2004 at Colonial Hills. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Harold E. Whitehead, daughter Lynn Whitehead Belcher, parents S.C. and Lily Frances Connatser, sisters Iva Connatser Huffman, Elizabeth C. Griffitts, brother Wilbur C. Connatser who was killed in World War II. She is survived by her son Wendell Douglas Whitehead of Maryville, 2 grandchildren, Harold Jason Belcher of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Bridget Belcher Davis and her husband Christopher Davis of Murfreesboro TN, 1 great grand child, Sydney Danelle Davis of Murfreesboro TN. Sisters Cecile C. Hannah of Avon Park, FL, sister and brother in law, Naomi C. And Jim Sherd of Seffner, FL, Ruth C. Ewell of Avon Park FL., brother and sister in law, James L. And Margurite Connatser of Maryville, sister in law and her husband Mary Alice and Robert A. Meredith of Tampa FL., brother in law and his wife Charles and Emma Jean Whitehead of Knoxville, several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Tucker and Rev. Steve Tuck officiating. The entombment will follow at Sherwood Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
