Bessie Marie Phelps

Bessie Marie Phelps, age 93 of Friendsville, went to be with the Lord February 9, 2017, at Asbury Place, Maryville. Bessie was born August 20, 1921. Survived by husband of 76 years, William Darrell; children, Bill wife Pat, Gene wife Helen, daughter Rosalie; six grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren. Marie was a loving, witty and caring mother and wife. She loved her grand babies to No End. She will be deeply missed. The family wishes to thank the Nursing staff of Asbury Place. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service. Friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
