Betty Ruth Caughron Martin

Martin, Betty Ruth Caughron, age 76 of Augusta, GA, formerly of Maryville, TN, passed away Monday, July 28, 2008, in Augusta. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mary Elizabeth Caughron and sister, Ethel Bean. Survivors include her husband, Richard “Dick” Martin of Augusta; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Carol Martin of Newnan, GA; stepson, Richard Martin, Jr. of Va; grandson, Tyler Martin of Newnan, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eugene and Gaynell Caughron of Maryville, Roy and Marilyn Caughron of Landrum, SC; sister, Sue Begley of Bristol, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Janie and Norman Gideon of Maryville. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roy Caughron and Pastor Scott Begley officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville, TN. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Peachtree City, Ga.
