Betty Waters Pate

PATE, Betty Waters, age 79 of Walland, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2002, at Asbury Acres Healthcare Center. She was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church and was a retired City of Maryville School Teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, James M. and Gaynelle Griffitts Waters and sister, Polly Love Smith. Survivors include: husband, Dr. George P. Pate; daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Earl Brown; son, Aaron Pate. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery for a graveside service with Dr. Darris Doyal and Rev. Sterling Turner officiating. Friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Sunday at the Cemetery following the service.
