Bobbee Moore Amburn

October 11, 1947 — December 29, 2015

BARBARA J. "BOBBEE" MOORE AMBURN Bobbee Amburn was born on October 11th, 1947, the daughter of Fred & Margaret Moore. She was reunited with the love of her life, Virgil, as the Lover of her soul, Jesus, swept her off her feet into eternity on December 29th, 2015. She is survived by: son Lamar & wife Trish, son Donnie & wife Sue, daughter Brenda & husband Doug, daughter Debbi & husband Ken, son Junior, son Jason & wife Whitney, son Jordan & wife Jodi, and several precious grandchildren & great-grandchildren whom she absolutely adored. She also leaves behind her brothers Clay & Johnny, her sisters Gerrae, Vicki, Judy, & Tammie, and several nieces & nephews, all of whom she loved & cherished dearly. Though many will, no doubt, remember her as the hard-working, little lady at Amburn's Fruit Market, she was so much more! She was an accomplished author. Her final book is entitled, Before The Whisperer Came, and will be released soon. Her marriage counseling sessions have help save countless marriages. She was always one to plead the cause of the widows, the fatherless, and the poor. Sis. Bobbee was also a powerful teacher. Ladies who were touched by her ministry will surely say, "She's A Lady," as she taught them to follow suit. Sister Bobbee's ladies' group, "Rizpah," was her labor of love and will continue to meet each month in her honor at her home church, Family Christian Fellowship, led by her daughter-in-law, Jodi. Her greatest accomplishments, however, are embodied in her selfless commitment to her Saviour and her undying love for her late husband and children. Though eloquent, she dealt in simplicity, though beautiful, she was a hard-worker, and though spiritual, she was REAL! Let it be known... She kept her integrity- even until the end. She never once blamed God or doubted His Will for her life, but offered Him undying praise... "Thru It All!" There will be a private home-going celebration with her family and the Saints of FCF in attendance. Reverend Jordan Amburn will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations toward her final expenses may be made out to "FCF" and sent to Family Christian Fellowship, 1711 E. Broadway Ave., Maryville, TN 37804. ...And as Sister Bobbee would say... "Baruch atah, Adonai!"
