Bobby Lee Lankford

Bobby Lee Lankford, age 84 of Maryville, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016, at Asbury Place. He was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church in Maysville, GA, a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and active in character development at the University of Georgia under Coach Mark Richt. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Lankford; parents, Hamilton and Anna Lou Vaughn Lankford. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Lankford; sons, Gregory Lankford and wife Lisa and Stacy Lankford and wife Diana; brother, Darrell Lankford; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Lankford officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blount County Humane Society, 1005 E. Broadway, Maryville, TN 37804.
