Captain Joe H. Dotson

Captain Joe H. Dotson, age 85 of Greenback, TN has gone home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 22, 2022. He was employed for 37 years with the City of Knoxville Fire Department and a life-long farmer. He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Glenda Hope Dotson; mom, Ivalee King Dotson, and father, Luke Dotson; sister, Mildred Evans; brothers, Cecil and Harold Dotson.

He is survived by his son, Robert “Luke” Dotson (Kristen Burgess); grandchildren, Jennifer, and Mikayla; dog, Billie; brothers, Kenny Dotson, and James Dotson; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will meet at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 8, 2022, at Pine Grove Cemetery in Greenback for a graveside service.
