Carl F. Allen Jr.

Carl F. Allen Jr. age 82 of Mimosa Estates, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014. He was baptized into Christ at First Christian Church of Knoxville as a teenager, was a member of First Christian Church of Maryville, and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force (1952-1956). He was a 1959 graduate of the University of Tennessee and attended the Monday night Bible Study Fellowship in Knoxville. Preceded in death by his parents, Carl F. Sr. and Mildred Gresham Allen. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Allen; children, Suzanna Fitzgerald and husband Martin, Marty Bartlett; grandchildren, Matthew Fitzgerald, Katie Priest and husband Jeremy, Kenny Bartlett and wife Melissa, Kala Richardson and husband Casey, and Justin Bartlett; great granddaughter, Myla Priest. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2014, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral home with funeral services to follow at 7:00 PM with Ministers Harold Ray, Guy Fussell, and Gary Henline officiating. Family and fiends will meet 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Hwy, for the interment with military honors.
