Carolyn Lovin Painter

Carolyn Lovin Painter, age 77 of Friendsville, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a very active longtime member of Friendsville United Methodist Church and was active in Citizens for Community Improvement of Friendsville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Carrie Caughron Lovin and brothers, Fate, Ray, and Charles Lovin. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Leroy Painter; children, Susan Treadway and spouse Mike, Scott Painter and spouse, Suad Nahar, Stan Painter and spouse Michelle; grandchildren, Michal Treadway, Mark Treadway, Dawson Painter; sisters, Mary Cagle, Bernice Williams and husband G. P.; sisters-in-law, Minnie Lou Lovin, Katherine Lovin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donald and Jean Painter; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Betty Furches officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Cloyds Creek Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
