Charles Edward Best, Sr.

BEST Sr., Charles Edward, age 62 of Alcoa, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2007, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hillard and Ruth Best and brother, Lawrence Best. Survivors include daughters, Teresa Giffin of Nashville, Tina Anthony (David) of Maryville, Jill Best of Knoxville; son, Charles Best, Jr. Of Maryville; grandchildren, Ryan Watson, Chelsey, Patrick and Adam Rosenbaum, Brittani and Zachary Best, Cameron Olivia Mize; sisters, Joyce Kerr (James), Thelma Thomas (Kenneth), Mary Clark; several nieces and nephews; and a special little friend “Rambo”. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday in Centenary Cemetery.
