Charles M. "Charlie" Mays

Charles M. "Charlie" Mays, age 61 of Greenback, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Greenback First Presbyterian Church, a U.S. Navy Veteran, worked for TVA Engineering Department and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Preceded in death by his parents, Lowry and Helen (Loveday) Mays; brother, Larry Mays. Survivors include wife, Rebecca "Becky" Mays; daughters, Ericka (Danny) Hopson, Tammie (Justin) Phillips, Missy (David) Smith, Kristi (Shawn) Munsey; grandchildren, Emma, Tatum, Kyle, Matthew, and Austin; brother, Alan (Kathy) Mays; sisters, Denise (Curtis) Winton, Carol Lattimer; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5:30-7:00 pm Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Funeral services to follow at 7:00 pm, Pastors Tammie and Justin Phillips officiating. The interment at 10:00 am Wednesday in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
