Cindy Laughmiller Shepard

Cindy Laughmiller Shepard, age 66, of Maryville passed away peacefully at home with her husband and sister on April 12, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father Roy W. Laughmiller and her mother Nahn Ragan Laughmiller. Cindy was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and a retired dental hygienist with Dr. Lee Yount. A longtime member of New Providence Presbyterian Church, Cindy had a passion for history and joined numerous historical societies throughout the south. She loved her home at Edisto Beach, South Carolina, trips to the Smoky Mountains, and following the Tennessee Vols. Cindy was a gracious, loving friend to many who will miss her kindnesses.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband, Rick Shepard, her sister Becky Laughmiller, and her mother-in-law, Jan Shepard.

A memorial service at New Providence Presbyterian Church will be held on April 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. A reception will be held following the memorial service with light refreshments.
