August 20, 1920 — October 24, 2004

Clyde R. Heaton - age 84 of Maryville passed away Sunday, October 24, 2004 at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Lula Largent Heaton; several brothers and sisters. He was retired from ALCOA. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Jessie Dodd Heaton; sons, Coy Heaton and wife Pat, of Maryville, Troy Heaton and wife Carolyn, of Tellico; daughter, Dottie Kidd and husband Bob, of Alcoa; sister-in-law, Clara Heaton, of Maryville; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 7:30 P.M. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Everett and Rev. Sam Melton officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 P.M. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. The family would like to express a special thanks to the employees of Colonial Hills Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation of East Tennessee 4450 Walker Blvd. Knoxville, TN 37917
