Curtis Albert Banks

Curtis Albert Banks, age 76 of Townsend, TN, passed away on December 3, 2018. Curtis was born in Alexandria, VA. He is preceded in death by wife, Lynn Bertsch Banks, father and mother, Lt Col. Curtis M. Banks & Ollie Banks. He is survived by brother, Moultrey Banks, sons, Charles Banks and Patrick Banks, grandchildren, Cortnee Banks, Cassidy Ursin, and Chailey Banks, great grandchildren, Anastasia Ursin and Jaide Janiszewski. Curtis proudly served his country in the artillery branch of the US Army from 1960-1962. He was a corporal for 18 years at the Edgewood Police Department in Florida. He was a beloved guard at Laurel Valley for 10 years. Mr. Banks has been cremated under the direction of McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville, TN. Memorial services will be from 6:00-9:00 PM December 16th, 2018, at Wild Laurel Clubhouse, 702 Country Club Dr., Townsend, TN 37882. In lieu of flowers please donate to a St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
