Danny L. Morton

Danny L. Morton, age 69 of Maryville, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Freedom to Worship Pentecostal Church and was employed at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Dean; father, Murl Morton; sisters, Fran Bunch, Pat Dyer and Betty Jean Morton; brother, Ronnie Morton. Survivors include his wife, Ava Jo Morton; sisters, Sue Ann Amburn and husband Donnie and Margaret Garland; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Floyd Lambert officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
