Darrell Elmer Hill

July 9, 1934 — May 31, 2012

Elmer Hill, age 77 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Six Mile Baptist Church, served with the U. S. Army during the Korean War and retired from Colonial Hills Nursing Home after 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard K. Hill; parents, David E. and Edith Keller Hill; brother, James Earnest Hill; sister, Mary Ellen Dockery; nephew, Mark Dockery. Survivors include his granddaughter, Amanda Hill; great grandchildren, Brandon Hill, Robert Raines, Blake Elrod, Corbin Elrod; great great granddaughters, Brianna Lynn Hill and Brooklyn Kay Hill; daughter-in-law, Terry Hill; brother-in-law, Jerry Dockery; niece, Crystal Brewer. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clifford Debuty and Rev. Charles Murrell officiating. The interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. 982-6812 www.mccammonammonsclick.com
