David Leon Smithey

Smithey, David Leon age 64 of Friendsville passed away Saturday November 10th 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Allen E. and Margaret Louise Thomas Smithey. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Smithey, son, David Alan Smithey of Maryville, brothers, Billy A. Smithey of GA, James Rogers Smithey of Maryville, sister, Rebecca Sharon Smithey of Maryville, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday November 13th 2007 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Parker officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. at the church. The family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Laurel Bank Cemetery for the interment.
