David Paul "Uncle Dave" Bailey

David Paul "Uncle Dave" Bailey, age 69 of Friendsville, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Union Grove United Methodist Church. He was former owner of Uncle Dave's Market. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Haislip Bailey, parents, Howard and Mildred Bailey, sister and brother in law, Edna Jean and Billy Joe Phelps. He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Amy and Richard Moore, daughter, Elizabeth Bailey and son and daughter in law, Andy and Connie Bailey. Grandchildren, Andrea Paige Bailey, Joshua Blaine Moore, Kristen Grace Bailey, Clarissa Jane Moore and Connor Andrew Bailey. Sisters and brothers in law, Virginia Sue and Dwayne Hammer, Kathy and Gary Whitehead, sister, Linda Woolery and brother in law Robert Woolery. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Union Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Markwood and Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m Sunday at the church. Interment will follow in Union Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
