Delozier Haskell Delozier Jr.

JENKINS, JR., Delozier Haskell, age 83 of Alcoa, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He retired from ALCOA in June of 1988 where he worked for 42 years. He was preceded in death by parents, Delozier Haskell Jenkins, Sr., and Lilly Valentine Jenkins; sisters, Emma Lou Jenkins, Aileen Jenkins Evans, and Charline Jenkins; brother, Donald Adolphi Jenkins. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Dorothy Rogers Jenkins; daughter, Patricia Jenkins Palmer and son-in-law, James Palmer of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Tammy and Billy Edwards of Lake Charles, LA, Todd Palmer of St. Louis, MO; great granddaughter, Taylor Edwards of Lake Charles, LA; nephews, Michael, Christopher, and Gerald Jenkins of Knoxville, Tim Jenkins of Hilton Head, SC; special brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law include, Cecil Hackney, Dude and Wilma Allison, Eleanor Harrill, Bob and Helen Hutsell, and Imogene Jenkins; nieces, Bobbie Hutsell and Maria Cole. Special gratitude to the caring staff of Blount Memorial SICU Unit and Hospice Care. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Danny Davis officiating.
