Dollie A. Millsaps Kirby, age 82 of Maryville, my dear wife, our loving mother, has taken her journey to her glorious Heavenly Home, Thursday, January 13, 2011, at her home. She was a member of Friendsville First Baptist Church and Business Womens Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Annie O’Neal Millsaps; brothers, Austin Millsaps, Joe Gilbert Millsaps, Earl Millsaps; infant sister; sisters, Eva Frank, Kathleen Cummings, Johnnie Mae Richardson, Verna Winstead. Survivors include her husband, Wilford Kirby; children, Pat “Diane” and Charles Bailey, Steve and Judy Kirby, Sherrie and Jim Nicholson; grandchildren, Mike Boring, Kim Murphy, Amber Medders and husband Rich, Lindsey Russell and husband Jarrod, Shane, Nicholas, Kristen Bailey; great grandchildren, Brayden, Ian, Caylor, Talisha, Tabitha, Tabrina, Colt; great great grandchildren, Covin, Caige, Caylix Taeton, Ason, McKenna; sisters-in-law, Rowena Long, and Charlotte Millsaps; brother-in-law, John Long; nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. A special thanks to U. T. Hospice, Frances and Angela, Pastor Ron, and Preacher Robinson, Friendsville First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Grubb officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Cemetery in Townsend for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Jill B.
