Don Paul Kenworthy

Don Paul Kenworthy, age 56, died unexpectedly at his home in Maryville, TN. Don was a 1979 graduate of Maryville High School and attended Washington University in St. Louis, MO where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Don was a graduate of the Culinary Arts Institute of Baltimore where he became an accomplished chef. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2000. Don was employed by the University of Tennessee SWORPS program for the last 17 years. He dedicated his life to those who were less fortunate and to those that need help. Don was a strong man of faith who will be remembered as a devoted son, brother, nephew, uncle, as well as a beloved friend. He was preceded in death by his father, J. Bruce Kenworthy. He is survived by his mother, Paula S. Kenworthy; brother, J. Bruce Kenworthy, Jr. (Gail); nieces, Erin and Darcy; aunt, Ann S. Jordan and many close cousins. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Maryville.
