Donald Stanley Mcgill

Donald Stanley McGill, 68, of Maryville died January 26, 2024, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Stan graduated from Friendsville High School and attended UT. Stan was a great landscaper and volunteered at the local animal shelter. Stan loved the spirit of friendship with his coworkers at Kroger Maryville. He was preceded in death by parents, Marvin McGill and Donna Boring McGill and sister Deborah McGill Williams. Survivors are brother, Dickie McGill (Shirley), nephew, Joshua Williams (Nickie) and niece, Mischa McGill (Joey) and many loving relatives. The family will host a memorial service in The Great Smoky Mountains, Stan’s peaceful retreat, in the spring. In Stans memory, donations may be given to Friends of The Smokies. friendsofthesmokies.org
