Dorothy White Compton

COMPTON, Dorothy White, age 78 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2005, at Asbury Acres. She was a member of Everett Hills Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, James Roy and Deva Best White. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Edward D. “Ed” Compton of Maryville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Elmer and Oneda White and Homer and Nancy White all of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Everett Hills Baptist Church with Dr. John Franklin and Dr. Allen Raines officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
