LAWSON, Edith Frances Potter - Sacred to the memory. Beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully June 14, 2008. Edith was a Christian who loved to sing in the choir at First Baptist Church of Alcoa. She also was a member of the senior choir at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. During her eighty two years of life her hands were busy sewing, painting, and crafting. She took excellent care of her family. Norma Hollingsworth is a close and wonderful friend; many nieces and nephews were also special. Janice Valentine and Marie Burns were so helpful during our days of mother’s illness. Preceded in death by her husband Mayford and son Nickey, Jim and Josie Potter were her parents, brothers were Amos, Cecil, Hugh, and Donald. A graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M.
