Edith Laverne Robinson Moore

Edith Laverne Robinson Moore, 88, of Maryville, TN, ran to her savior on January 19, 2015. She precedes in death by Felix E. Moore of Charleston, TN (the love of her life and to whom she was married to for 49 years), parents Hazel Joy and J. B. Robinson of Maryville, TN as well as her brother, Reverend Ray Edwin Robinson of Maryville, TN. She is survived by her daughters, Rickie Joy Cate, Marisa Jean Sylar and Carol Rene' Dunaway, sisters Hazel Ann Imes and Betty Jo Householder as well as 7 grandchildren and 6 1/4 great grand babies (one due in June 2015). Edith lived life in her own way. She held sweet memories of the times she spent with family and friends, card making and watching her beloved VOLS. She was notorious for her sense of humor, sweet smile, and patience. She was born & raised in Alcoa, TN, she traveled the world with her family courtesy of the CIA. Edith enjoyed playing games such as Chicken Foot, UNO and watching birds. She was a hard-working lady, loyal, silly, kind, gentle, respectful and generous. May you rest peacefully Mom. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the Maryville Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2921 Sevierville Rd., Maryville, TN 37804, with fellowship to follow.
