Edwin Alfred ''Bob'' Nicholls

Edwin Alfred ''Bob'' Nicholls, age 87 of Alcoa, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. He was an amateur Radio Operator whose call sign was KB4GH and loved e-mailing others on the computer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Josephine Moffett Nicholls and cousin, Donald Davis. Survivors include his wife, Alice Jean Masters Nicholls and cousins, Betty Sellers, Kenneth Connell and wife Arlyne and Marlene Davis. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. Andrews Episcopal with Rev. Steve Mosher officiating. The interment will follow in New Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Church following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 314 W. Broadway, Maryville, TN 37801.
