Eva Ferguson Coppenger

Eva L. Ferguson Coppenger age 85 of Maryville passed away Tuesday May 9th 2017. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Eva was devoted first and foremost to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and then to her family. Her joyful personality, gentle spirit and humble heart will never be forgotten. A tender smile or the squeeze of her hand showed the love that she had for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, even into her last days. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy V "RV" Coppenger and daughter in law Sharen Templin Coppenger. She is survived by her sons and daughter in laws, Darell and Karen Coppenger, Dwain and Judy Coppenger, Mike and Allison Coppenger. Daughter and son in law, Brigette and Jim Gillespie and daughter Kathy Coppenger. Brother and sister in law, Jerry and Gaynell Ferguson. The funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with Rev Chris Farmer and Rev. Greg Long officiating. Family and friends will meet at New Providence Cemetery in Tellico Plains at 11:00 a.m. Saturday for the interment. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until 6:30 Friday at the funeral home.
