Frances Badgett Allen

Frances Badgett Allen, age 87 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2004, at Shannondale of Maryville. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church and was retired from the Blount County Health Department as Office Manager after 24 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lon and Frankie Badgett; sister, Martha B. Price and brother, Robert H. Badgett. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James C. “Buddy” and Ann Allen of Maryville; son, Robert B. Allen of Nashville; daughter, Martha Lee Allen of Athens, GA; granddaughter, Terina Stewart; grandson and wife, David B. and Amy Allen of Maryville; foster grandchild and wife, Mike and LeeAnn Shelton of Maryville; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Stewart, Caleb Shelton; brother-in-law, Kent Price of Friendsville; sisters-in-law, Christine Badgett of Albuquerque, NM, Mary Lib Jackson and family of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-2:15 Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home then proceed to Grandview Cemetery for a 2:30 graveside and interment service with Dr. James Dougherty officiating.
