Frieda Jane Lambert West

Frieda Jane Lambert West passed away at home surrounded by her children on May 25, 2022. She was an active member of Clover Hill Presbyterian Church and “The Quilters.” She was born on October 31, 1932, in Blount County to Ennie Jane & Homer Lambert. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Walter West for 39 years and together they raised five children. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was selfless, nurturing, loved to laugh and always made sure you were well fed. Putting others first was her way. She made being “Christ-like” look easy as her love was unconditional.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter West, Sr.; mother, Ennie Jane Lambert; father, Homer Lambert; stepmother, Hazel Wallace Lambert; brothers, Jimmy Lambert, Wallace Lambert; sister, Linda Lambert Harless.

She is survived by her children, Kathy (Don) Kagley, Walt (Terrie) West, Barbara Ann West and Larry Yates, Melinda (Tim) Best, Kent (Cristy) West; grandchildren, Matthew (Sonya) Kagley, Erin Jane (Charlie) Myers, Caleb (Elizabeth) West, Jacob (Maddy) West, Morgan (Brad) Stapleton, Abbey (Cody) Beck, Jesse (Lexie) West, Lindsey West, and Lane West; great-grandchildren, Zoe Kagley, Merritt Jane and Harrison Myers, Cooper and Riley West and Wyatt Lee Stapleton; sisters, Jo Ann Lambert, Carolyn Lambert; brother, Harold Lambert.

Friends may sign the guest register from 12:00-4:00 p.m. on Friday May 27, 2022, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Friends and family will meet for a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Grandview Cemetery Pavilion.
