Geneva Sturgeon

STURGEON, Geneva, age 93 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2007, at Blount Memorial Transitional Care. She was a member of Maryville First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Sturgeon; parents, William Esco and Rose Davis Phelps; brothers, Edward and Jerrod Phelps; sisters, Edna Stout and Anna Reva Davis. Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Mary Sturgeon of Maryville, Brick and Sally Sturgeon of Nashville; grandchildren, Jim Jr., Jeff, Mark, Brick Jr. and Josh; great grandchildren, Savannah, Emma and Grace; brother, Darrell of Maryville; sister, Juanita of Manchester; several beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. The interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
