Gerald Ralph Malach

Malach, Gerald Ralph age 78 of Louisville passed away Friday March 9th 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He attended Stair Tech. High School and went to the University of Tennessee on a football scholarship and was on the 1951-1952 Championship Football Team. He graduated from U.T. in 1953 and served two years in Korea. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, and a Charter Member of the Knights of Columbus. He was retired from Texaco Inc. in Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Gilbert A. Malach, brother, Eugene Malach, sisters in laws, Rosemary Wright Malach and Judy Hamley Malach. He is survived by sisters, Della and Donna Malach of Louisville TN, sister and brother in law, Kay and Ken Webb of Louisville TN, brothers, Gilbert J. Malach of Montgomery AL, and Phillip G. Malach of Louisville TN, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at 6.00 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Fatima Church Alcoa TN., with Father Alex Waraska officiating. The family will receive friends after the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church Building Fund, 858 Louisville Rd.
