Grace Wilson Young

YOUNG, Grace Wilson, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2007, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a graduate of and a retired LPN from St. Barnabas in Livingston, NJ, worked for Bell Telephone, was a member of FCE Club and a Master Reader. She was involved in many civic organizations in NJ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allan Young; two infant children, Dorothy Virginia Young and James Edward Young; parents, Amelia and Harry Wilson; brother, Kenneth Wilson; special sister-in-law, Estelle Cutler. Survivors include her children, Barbara Jean Young Lavender of Kingsport, TN, Margaret Leigh Young Butch of Pembroke Pines, FL, Meredith Jane Young Martin of Oxford, PA and Charles Frederick Young of Monrovia, CA; brother, Warren Wilson of Monroe, CT; nieces and nephews, Deborah Hoult of England, Karen Orzochowski of CT, David Keith Wilson of CT, Sara Wardamasky of ME, Katherine “Kit” Valentino of NJ, David Blair Wilson of NY. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hutsell officiating. The interment will follow in Holston College Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heifer International; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; American Cancer Society; Children’s Hospital (located anywhere) and Berea College.
