Harold Mills, age 97 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011. A graduate of Everett High School, a frequent worshiper at Rockford Baptist Church, a member of Broadway Baptist Church and a long-time retiree from ALCOA. Preceded in death by his wife, Edith Robinette Mills; parents, Rosa Veal Mills and Aaron Mills; brothers, Roscoe, Floyd and Avery Mills. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jerry and Frank Bridwell of Lake Oswego, OR; grandchildren, Brandon and wife Leslie Bridwell and Whitney and husband Darren Bauer of OR; great-grandchildren, Harrison and Olivia Bridwell of OR; nieces, Shirley Mills Trotter and Marilyn Mills Smith of Maryville, Rosalee Rogers of GA and nephews, Jack Mills of Knoxville, J. T. and Lloyd Robinette of Lenoir City and Earl Caldwell of Powell. Also survived and with deepest gratitude to Julee, Mark, Elijah and McKinley Clark of Greenback, who were there for him in every way this past year with much love and care. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-3:00 p.m. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home and then proceed to Clark’s Grove Cemetery for a 3:30 p.m. graveside service.
