Helen Mildred Ray Cathcart

Helen Mildred Ray Cathcart, (84 years old), passed away peacefully in her home amongst many of her loved ones on Monday, February 5, 2018. Our precious and beloved Helen (wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend) has gone to glorious heaven to join her Jesus and many of her family. She was living in the home that her parents had built and passed away in the bedroom that her grandfather, Elias Taberaux, passed away in. She graduated from Everett High School in 1951, she was a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church since May 4, 1966 and loved her Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Eva Ray and sister, Virginia Jean Dunlap. She is survived by her husband, Buddy Cathcart; daughters, Patricia Flynn and husband Wayne, Brenda Cathcart; son, Douglas Cathcart; special friend and considered daughter, Darlene Baybarz; grandchildren, Brad Flynn and wife Jessi, Cassanderia Cathcart and Jacob Cathcart; step-grandchild, Al Baxter and wife Chrissy; great grandchildren, Elyza and Gavyn Flynn; several nephews and had special assistance from her nephew, Raymond Dunlap and his wife Sue. Graveside services will be on Friday, February 9, at 1:00 p.m. at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Bob Dalton officiating. Friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
