Herman Edward Fields

FIELDS, Herman Edward, age 69 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was retired from ALCOA where he was a member of the 25 Year Club. In addition to being a member at Grace Memorial Church, Herman also served as Chairman of the Board. He was also a very avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents Oliver and Ruby Fields and by his son Christopher. Survivors include his beloved wife of 51 years and care giver, Wanda Fields of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Gary Farmer of Maryville; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Rhonda Fields of Verbena, AL and Brian and Joy Fields of Augusta, GA; 8 grandchildren: Bradley, Matthew, Melinda, Jennifer, Danielle, Hannah, Jordan, and Morgan, all of whom he loved dearly; brother and sister-in-law, William Donald and Katherine Fields of Greenback; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Annalue and Gene Bryant; brother-in-law, Bruce Watt (and wife Eileen-deceased); sister-in-law, Wanda Lynn Marion (and husband J.P.-deceased) all of Maryville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Leonard Presley of Loudon TN; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday March 5, 2006 at 7 P.M. at Grace Memorial Church with Rev. Ron Sunderland, Rev. Brian Fields and Rev. Billy Carrigan officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Monday at the church. Family and friends will meet at 11 A.M. Tuesday in Grandview Cemetery for the interment service.
