J. Frank Johnson Jr.

March 28, 1947 — April 1, 2006

JOHNSON, J. FRANK, age 59 of Maryville went to be with the Lord on Saturday April 1, 2006. Frank was a retired Captain with the Alcoa Fire Department and was a former co-owner and designer with Bullet Boats. He was also an avid spelunker, rock climber and outdoorsman. During the Vietnam War Frank served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ethel Johnson; sister, Bobbie Harmon; and nephew, Gary Harmon. Survivors include his wife, Doris Johnson of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law Kim (Johnson) and Randy Pierce of Windsor, KY; grandchildren, Kaylee and Cole Pierce of Windsor, KY; brother, Jack Clements of Maryville; sister, Evonne Bryant of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews; special care giver, Chasity Ford. Special thanks to all nurses on five south, Dr. William Moore and special friends at Alcoa Fire Department. Family and friends will meet 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Magnolia Cemetery for a graveside service with Steve McKenzie officiating. Friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Eastern TN Chapter, 2200 Sutherland Ave. Suite H 102 Knoxville, TN 37919.
