J. W. ''Bill'' Wallace

J. W. “Bill” Wallace, age 93 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at his home. He was a member of Clover Hill Presbyterian Church and retired from J.W. “Bill” Wallace Tractor and Farm Implement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Houston Wallace and sister, Evelyn Humphrey. Bill and his wife Velma donated the land for Maryville Christian School and were supporters for many years. The family wishes to express special thanks to Fred and Mary Lindstrom and Jim and Mary Lawson for the special care they gave Bill. Survivors include his sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Elizabeth and Hubert Cotter and Barbara and Charles Richard; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. Friday at Maryville Christian School with Rev. Thomas Gilliland officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Clover Hill Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday at the School.
