OWENBY, J.C. of Maryville, passed away Friday, December 3, 2004 at U.T. Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by parents, W.E. and Bessie Owenby. Grandson, Geter P. Jenkins III. Brothers, Clell and John Owenby. Survivors include: Betty Owenby. Son, Rodney Owenby of Albuquerque, NM. Daughters and sons-in-law, Remona and Gary Latham of Louisville. Glenda and Geter Jenkins Jr. Of Maryville. Grandchildren, Jennifer Shepherd and her husband Nolan. Cissy Helton and Her husband Josh all of Maryville. Jacob Latham of Louisville. Great grandchildren, Mikayla and Katelyn Helton. Brother, Doyle Owenby of GA. Sisters, Jean Lowe, Nadine Hatcher, Anna Wallace, Merdith McGaha, Wanda Miles and Janice Heaton of Maryville. Rosa May Holman of Calhoun, GA. Several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, December 5, 2004 at Clarks Grove Cemetery with Rev. Larry Boling officiating.
