James Donald Hensley

HENSLEY, James Donald, age 79 of Friendsville, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2003, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, was a member of Rockford Lodge #469 F&AM and was the current Worthy Patron of Martha Washington Chapter 231 OES. Survivors include his wife, Lois E. Hensley; daughter, Joyce Couch of Friendsville; sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Nemia Hensley of Stevensville, MT, Thomas and Susan Hensley of Papillion, NE; six grandchildren, Michelle Allison and husband Luther of Friendsville, Scott Couch and wife Michelle of Maryville, James Hensley of Amherst, NY, Michael Hensley of NY, Jared Hensley and wife Jennifer of Omaha, NE and Abrea Hensley of Omaha, NE; eight great grandchildren, Josuah Swayney, Jeremy Swayney, Jessica Swayney, Justin Swayney, Dale Couch, Stephen Couch, Phillip Couch and Ryan Couch; sister and brother-in-law, Mina and Richard Reed of Deltona, FL; brother, Paul R. Hensley of Spring Hill, FL; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Pine Grove Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ron Sabo officiating. The interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
