James (Jim) Leonard Stinnett, Jr.

James (Jim) Leonard Stinnett, Jr., age 50, of Louisville, Tenn., passed away Saturday August 08, 2009 (his sister’s birthday) at UT Hospital. He graduated from the University Of Tennessee College Of Engineering with high honors and Alcoa High School class of 1977. He loved Jesus, his family and his dogs. He enjoyed fishing, being outside and traveling with his family. Preceded in death by his beloved sister Kim Mock, Grandparents Velma and Charles Mills, Elmira and Floyd Adams. Survivors include wife Debbie, son James (Jimmy) Leonard III, and daughter Megan; parents Shirley and Leonard Stinnett of Louisville; Godson and nephew Justin Mock of Justin Texas. Father-in-law and Mother-in-Law Mayford and Judy Kerr, Aunts and Uncles Frank and Margie Boring; Cliff and Betty Stubblefield; Richard and Lois Patterson; David Mills and Vada Mills; Brothers and Sisters-in-Law Pacer and Connie Hepperly; Joel and Debbie Kerr along with several nephews and nieces. His family wishes to thank his friends and associates who have given outstanding comfort and support during Jim’s brief illness. Special thanks go out to UT Hospital’s Emergency Room Specialist, Nurses and Doctors in Medical Critical Care who worked so hard treating Jim. Also, we thank the wonderful Receptionists on floor 5 of the hospital MICC waiting room who cared for the family. Funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Pacer Hepperly officiating. The interment will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Old Ballard’s Chapel Church Cemetery The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
