Jean Morton Smith

Jean Morton Smith, age 84, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at her home. She was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church and was preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Smith and son, Michael Andrew Smith. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, G. Robert and Betsy Smith of Walland; sister, Sue Swann of Maryville; nieces and nephews. Family will meet at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at New Providence Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Dr. Emily Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends in the Church Atrium following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Providence Presbyterian Church, 703 W. Broadway, Maryville, TN 37801.
