Jesse S. Brown, Jr.

Jesse Brown, Jr., age 90 of Maryville, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011, at Asbury Place. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and retired from ALCOA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse S. Sr., and Naomi Armstrong Brown. Survivors include his wife, Lucille McCall Brown; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Allan and Barbara Brown of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Larry Clemmer of Maryville; daughters, Rhonda Barbe of Oak Ridge and Jean Brown of Monroe, NC; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Holder officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
