Cate, Joanne Turner of Greenback Tennessee passed away Saturday March 24th 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church. She and her husband operated Sterling Seed and Feed for many years. After that, she operated Cades Cove Campground Store. She is preceded in death by her sisters Julia Turner and Beverly Hash. She is survived by her husband, best friend, and care giver Terry Cate, daughters Marthea (Marty) Cate and Deanna Cate, both of Maryville. Sister and brother in law, Janice and Raymond Overton of Knoxville, nephews, David Hash of Knoxville and Micheal Overton of TX., brother in law and sister in law, Ted and Kathy Cate of Maryville, mother in law, Rose Cate, “sister”, Sylvia Mitchell of Nashville, special friend Libby Wright and best friend Mary Wallace, cousin, Phyllis Lovelace of Atlanta GA., Beloved Pet, Sam. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lisa Blackwood officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience at the family home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries, P.O.
