LAIRAMORE, Joe E., age 81 of Maryville, passed away Friday, September 23, 2005, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. He was a member of Maryville First Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S. Army in the Pacific and Japan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles M. and Kate Cleo Cook Lairamore; brother, Lee Lairamore. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Alea “Nicky” Lairamore of Maryville; daughters and sons-in-law, Hadley and Bob Twilley of Springdale, AR, Nancy and Butch Moon of Athens, GA; daughter, Mary Kate Roberson of Knoxville; son, Charles Lairamore of Maryville; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda and Jim Barnhill of Birmingham, AL, Pat and H. D. Osborne of Fayetteville, AR; sister, Brenda Terry of San Antonio, TX; sister-in-law, Georgia Lairamore of Bartlesville, OK; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard and Rev. Bill Dixon officiating. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
