Johnnie W. Hurtt

Johnnie W. Hurtt age 93 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at her home. She was retired from The Daily Times with 32 years of service. Preceded in death by husband, George Hurtt; parents, John and Zetta Brakebill King; son-in-law, Glenn Orr; grandson, Stephen Orr; 1 brother and 5 sisters. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Gilbert Mintz of Vonore; daughters, Nancy Orr and Judy Christenberry both of Maryville; grandchildren, Mike and Susan Orr, Mark and Debbie Orr, Debbie Orr, Amy Atchley, Lynsey Atchley, Kelly and Tammy Beason, Gusty and Lissa Christenberry; many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special caregiver; Shirley Mae. Funeral services and entombment will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2011 at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Ron Blevins officiating.
